Over the course of my search for model, skeletons and skulls, I acquired a complete, plastic, real life-size, cat skeleton.

Somehow, I have the feeling our own live fat cat, Lamia, disapproves…

Yes, I know, once again I’m promoting myself. But I do not think it is a problem, when you think I’m the main and possibly unique reader of this blog :-).

So, I spent quite some time this summer for a special big order for custom candles. The main conclusion is that I have to find a way to speed up the wax melting… Making the candles is not too big an issue, not really even time-consuming, but more time-wasting: you prepare, you then wait for the wax to melt, then you pour, then you wait for the wax to cool down. Rinse and repeat 200 times ;-).

Packaging the candles was funnier and less solitary, tough even with an additional 1 to 2 persons, it took the best of a weekend.
